The extent of any brief undertaken is agreed at the initial consultation but may be altered at any time thereafter by mutual agreement.

The most usual arrangement is for a client to commission a site visit and an outline plan. Subsequently, the brief may be extended to include specific structural planting suggestions, a complete design service, or limited to a specific sum for expenditure.
